Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026. This policy explains how American Freedom Driving School collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through amerfree.com, student accounts, lesson registration, and related communications.

American Freedom Driving School is located at 5663 Lincoln Avenue, Suite E, Cypress, CA 90630. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@amerfree.com or made by calling (714) 503-9800.

We collect identifiers and contact details such as name, email, phone number, mailing or pickup address, account credentials, and parent or guardian contact details when applicable. Registration may also include date of birth, gender, permit or license information, lesson selections, comments, and medical or physical information that a student chooses to provide for safe instruction.

We collect commercial and transaction information such as the selected package, payment option, amount, payment status, and Stripe transaction references. Card numbers and other complete payment credentials are entered on Stripe's checkout and are not stored by us.

We may receive basic device, browser, IP address, cookie, session, and security log information when you use the site. Address search results may be processed by Mapbox when that feature is available.

We use information to create and secure student accounts, provide requested driving-school services, schedule and administer lessons, process payments, send confirmations and service messages, respond to support requests, maintain safety and business records, prevent fraud, troubleshoot the site, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use registration information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Information is disclosed only as reasonably needed to providers that support the service, including Stripe for payment processing, Vercel and our database provider for hosting and storage, Mapbox for address search, SMTP2GO or Resend for transactional email, and Telegram for restricted administrator notifications. Google receives information only if Google sign-in is configured and you choose to use it.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect students or others, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Providers process information under their own terms and our service arrangements.

The site uses necessary cookies to keep users signed in and protect account sessions. We do not currently use advertising cookies. Browser settings may block cookies, but account features may then stop working.

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, password hashing, signed webhooks, and limited administrator access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide lessons and account access, maintain payment and business records, resolve disputes, protect safety, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable operational or legal need; data is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.

California residents may have rights to know about and access personal information, request correction or deletion, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable, and receive information about our disclosure practices. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. A parent or legal guardian should complete or approve registration for a student under 18. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information without appropriate authorization.
